2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data when you use the Service:

Birth date, time, and place of birth are classified as sensitive personal data under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data solely for the following purposes:
- Computing your Vedic natal chart (Rāśī, Daśā, Yoga analysis)
- Generating personalised AI astrological consultations
- Maintaining your account and consultation history
- Improving the accuracy and quality of the Service
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
The Service uses the following third-party processors:
- Manus Infrastructure — Hosting, database, and object storage. Your data is stored on servers operated by Manus (US/India regions).
- Nominatim / OpenStreetMap — Geocoding service used to convert your place of birth (city name) into geographic coordinates for chart calculation. Only the place name string is transmitted; no personal identity information is sent.
- Manus AI (LLM) — AI language model used to generate consultation responses. Your birth chart data and consultation messages are transmitted to this service for processing.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and birth chart data for as long as your account is active. Consultation history is retained indefinitely unless you delete it. You may delete individual consultations at any time from the Consultations page. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the email address below.
6. Your Rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you have the following rights:
- Right to Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to Grievance Redressal — Lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer.

7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures including encrypted HTTPS transmission, HTTP-only secure session cookies, parameterised database queries, and access controls. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
